Your voice matters and can make a difference!
Democracy works best when people are engaged. Many recent changes to government policy limit public participation. We think that’s a bad idea. This provincial government has gone overboard with Ministerial Zoning Orders (MZO’s) removing vital environmental legislation, strong Mayor powers and removing land from Ontario's Greenbelt.
Laws designed to protect clean water resources, nature and the future health of the region are not red tape. We need governments that makes decisions in the best interest of people and the common good — not the interest of developers.
Contact your MPP ask them to withdraw Bill 23 and stop the Greenbelt land grab, Hands off the Greenbelt.
